Laura Powrie
Strategic, experienced, and people-focused
I’m an Executive Coach and Strategic HR Consultant with over 20 years of experience in corporate HR. I started out as an HR Administrator and have held every role up to CHRO, supporting global organisations across 26+ markets in Europe, APAC and North America.
I now specialise in working with growing businesses – typically with 25 to 600 employees – helping them navigate the people challenges that come with scaling, evolving, and leading well. From boardrooms to back offices, I’ve seen what works (and what really doesn’t).
I’m passionate about simplifying HR and making it truly people-focused. Your people are often the difference between hitting your goals or missing them – and my job is to help you unlock that potential. With broad generalist experience and a calm, practical approach, there aren’t many people problems I haven’t seen.
As a coach, I bring the same mix of empathy and pragmatism – creating space for people to think, grow and lead in a way that feels authentic to them. Whether supporting first-time leaders or seasoned executives, I focus on what’s real, relevant, and actionable.
